Pro-ject Debut Carbon Evo
The Debut Carbon EVO focuses on the core aspects that make a turntable sound great. Technically correct design – expert craftsmanship – handmade in the EU. This turntable is built to last you a lifetime!
Project One Expression Carbon
The ProJect 1 was the original turntable designed by Heinz Lichtenegger, founder of Pro-Ject Audio, back in the early 1990s. Since then, the ‘1’ has been made in many forms, most notably of which was the popular Xpression series. Now, in 2013, the latest incarnation has been released – the Project 1 Xpression Carbon UKX. The Project 1 Xpression Carbon advances on from its forbears with some brand new features that have never been seen on any other Pro-Ject turntables before. From the stunning finish to the audiophile technical specification, every element of this turntable has been meticulously designed to offer the best performance for the money – just like the original ProJect 1. The Project 1 Xpression Carbon turntable advances on other turntables thanks to its one-piece carbon fibre tonearm, which is mounted in a brand new heavy-weight assembly, inspired by the superior Evolution tonearms. This over-sized support effectively isolates the tonearm from the plinth, and takes any minor resonances in the tonearm and dissipates them immediately – allowing only the original music signal to be sent to your amplifier. Mounted on the tonearm is the new Ortofon 2M Silver, a special version of Ortofon’s world famous 2M Red cartridge, finished with silver spools for optimal signal generation. The Pro-ject 1 Xpression Carbon benefits from a new AC motor design with DC power supply. It achieves this unique combination by incorporating an AC generator on the underside of the turntable – so the DC power supply signal is changed to a clean AC supply, which allows the 9V motor to perform at its optimal level. The motor is isolated from the main plinth – to avoid resonance transference – by two rubber grommets designed and manufactured by Ortofon’s expert rubber division. The motor applies rotating force to a sub-platter, which drives the acrylic platter. The acrylic platter creates an alternative aesthetic and sound.

Ortofon 2M Red
Ortofon 2M Red Cartridge is a high performance entry priced cartridge
The 2M Red and 2M Blue are designed for precise and accurate retrieval of the information in the record groove. Indeed, it is Ortofon’s lasting philosophy to only ever play the recorded sound, without colouration.
To obtain a flat frequency response, as with a Moving Coil cartridge, Ortofon are using split pole pins in the 2M design, to reduce the eddy current. The split pole pins are an Ortofon invention which was originally presented in the 500 and Super OM series, to great effect.
The 2M Red and 2M Blue both use the same engine with split pole pins. With this improved engine Ortofon have been able to increase the output to an impressive 5.5 mV.
Ortofon 2M Blue Moving Magnet MM Phono Cartridge
The Ortofon 2M Blue is an evolution and an update of Ortofon’s best-selling OM Series of Moving Magnet cartridges. The 2M body, generator and stylus profile have all been greatly improved and this great budget cartridge integrates 21st century technology in an affordable package.
Project The Classic Turntable
The Classic offers classic look and innovative high-end technology
This turntable makes use of traditional frame design which was established by the famous turntable manufacturers of the 50’s and 60’s. It uses a compact simple and elegant form factor. The Classic incorporates a combination of approved belt drive design using a low noise AC motor with an ultra precision frequency DC-driven AC generator (like Speed Box) for ultimate speed stability. Advanced technology for decoupling and a completely new designed tonearm are also used.
Project Debut Espirit Turntable
The Debut Carbon Esprit SB (DC) brings all the benefits of the Debut Carbon (DC) but adds an electronic speed change and an acrylic platter. It is the perfect turntable to listen to LPs and singles, but also 78 rpm shellac records.
The most obvious improvement is the inclusion of a Carbon tube for the tonearm, which increases stiffness and decreases unwanted resonance. Together with other improvements like an increase in platter size and weight to realize even smoother rotation, the overall sound quality is greatly improved. The approved belt drive design offers a low noise AC motor with effective motor decoupling (utilising TPE-damping) and ultra precision frequency DC-driven AC generator (like the Speed Box) for ultimate speed stability without unwanted vibration. The acrylic platter gives the sound a natural liveliness, free from discoloration and resonance. There is no longer a need for a felt mat between the record and the platter. The included Phono RCA cable, Connect it E, is a high-quality semi-balanced interconnect cable with gold-plated RCA connectors that guarantees the perfect connection.
Project Tube Box S2 Phono Pre Amplifier
Tube Box S2 is our very first product to feature a fully discreet circuit design without using any operational amplifiers (OpAmps). It also is the first product to come with replaceable tubes for tube rolling and sound-shaping. This gives the customer many options to pick from and alter the sound signature to his preference. Tube Box S2 will give a full and relaxed laid back sound with lush mids, just like you would expect it from a much bigger high end tube phono pre-amplifier. It offers support for both MM and MC cartridges and comes with many gain settings to be switched on the front panel. Five variable input impedance settings are available to adjust to any MM cartridge, the 47k ohm input impedance setting is fixed and suited for high output MC cartridges. The aluminium/metal casing is adapted to our DS2 line in looks and protects against vibrations and electromagnetic interference for superior sound.
A true high end solution in a much smaller package!
Project Phono Box Phono Pre Amplifier
Today, many amplifiers do not have a specific phono cartridge input. Phono Box is an ideal phono preamplifier for these hifi system and accepts both MM and MC cartridges. The analogue output of Phono Box can easily be connected to a line-input (AUX,…) of your amplifier.
Project T1 Black
The stylish CNC-machined plinth of the T1 features no plastic parts and is carefully manufactured to ensure there are no hollow spaces inside, therefore avoiding unwanted vibrations within the chassis. Carrying this philosophy through the design, the glass platter is also a heavy, zero-resonance design. Finally, the purpose-chosen turntable feet also do a good job of isolating the T1 from ambient vibrations around your hi-fi system. In the T1 the motor drives a belt-system, attached to a newly designed sub-platter, which is mounted into an ultra-precise 0.001mm main bearing with a hardened steel axle and brass bushing – just like our Essential III turntables. The tonearm new tonearm has an effective length of 8.6”. This one-piece aluminium tonearm also features low-friction bearings for absolute accuracy in use. The T1 comes with a pre-adjusted Ortofon OM 5E Moving Magnet cartridge and is ready to use right out of the box. Also super shielded, semi-symmetrical, low-capacitance Pro-Ject phono cables are included.
